Dazzles The Senses
Now in the dedicated hands of its fourth generation, Tropicual’s groves are home to olive trees that have flourished for over a century. Today, Lucia and her husband Albert carry forward the legacy of sustainable organic farming ignited by her parents. Blending tradition with innovation, the Tropicual way is defined by passion, respect, and ambition.
Tropicual is a fusion of "tropical" and "Picual" — a name that reflects both the exotic spirit of our brand and our roots in Granada’s Costa Tropical, where we are headquartered. Picual, of course, is the cherished olive variety at the heart of our craft.
Our packaging draws inspiration from furoshiki, the traditional Japanese art of wrapping. Each label is adorned with the vibrant flora and fauna of our orchards, embodying our deep respect for nature. With this design, we aim to honor both the tradition of wrapping precious gifts and our commitment to eco-friendly elegance.
Each year, a single olive tree produces around 50 kg (110 lbs) of olives—enough to yield 6 liters (203 fl. oz.) of exquisite olive oil. When you adopt a tree, we designate a specific one just for you and send you its yearly equivalent production.
Your support helps us plan our farming and production sustainably. As a token of appreciation, we’ll attach either a birdhouse or an insect hotel (your choice!) to your tree, creating a haven for wildlife—an essential part of organic, regenerative farming.
And we keep you updated with videos on the trees activities such as pruning, fertilizing and harvesting.
Why not take a detour on your next trip to Spain?
Nestled where the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park meets the breathtaking UNESCO Global Geopark of Granada, Tropicual awaits.
Venture off the beaten path and immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind experience—where nature, tradition, and exquisite local cuisine come together in perfect harmony.
